Airport Transfer in Los Cabos

Transportation in Los Cabos is a very important service to pay attention to, you will depend on this to reach your flight back on time or to have a comfortable (or not) ground trip from the airport to your hotel.

First you have to know that there are two ways to reach your hotel or the airport, half of the way to Cabo San Lucas can be a free way or a comfortable Toll Road, the other half is the tourist corridor which is just awesome, no need to worry about this part of the trail but when we talk about an up to 40 minutes difference of time due to traffic on the free way, well the whole thing changes.

The toll road cost is about $2.7 USD each way, a taxi usually will use the free way to save himself some dollars from what you paid him, but this may turn your way in or back into a nightmare if you are on the rush/peak hours. Make sure you hire a transportation company who speaks your language and knows the words comfort & value of time.

Marine & Coastal Fauna

For fishing, snorkeling or scuba diving lovers, as Jacques Costeau said ones, this is ''the richest sea in the world'', because of its abundance of marine and coastal fauna, for nothing this destination is know as “The marlin capital of the world”. Jacques Costeau made an awesome discovery, a cascading fall of sand on a wall dropping 1,200 feet, definitely a most do for divers.

The arch

At Cabo San Lucas there is a famous rock formation called “The Arch”, this place is also well known as the land’s end, the last rocks of the Baja Peninsula, the furthest you can go from the border to the south in the Baja peninsula, 1200 miles away from San Diego and the place where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortes. This sound like a great story, but I heard that this ocean/sea encounter occurs at another point on the east, but yes sounds a lot better that this actually happens by the arch.

There is another story I can’t confirm yet, but local people say that every 4 years is possible to walk through the arch, but I just can’t find that cycle, I’ve seen the sand under the arch several times but around the 2001 the sand stayed there for months. Form me it was just a low tide but I will find it out definitely.
How do I get there?
You can reach this point either using a water taxi, a kayak (don't get too close) or a waverunner. All available on the Medano Beach, water taxis on the Marina.
